APRIL 16TH: PARK PLACE WEDDING EXPERIENCE

As Jon and I close in on our wedding date, we were invited by Park Place to experience the wedding products and services it has to offer! I'd like to give a special thank you to Amy (@parkplaceleawood) and Sarah from Sarah Dean Photography (@sarahdeanphotography) for making this day a dream! Let's get started on the rundown of our day!

To begin, Jon and I got a tour of The Gents Place, a premium men's grooming club that offers services for hair, facial, shaving body and massage. It's 2018- men are into grooming themselves and I'm all about it! After our tour, Jon got a hot shave and his face was the smoothest it's ever felt! side note- they carry JFK's signature cologne and I thought that was just about the coolest thing!

While Jon was getting his hot shave, I headed over to Timothy Weber salon to get a shampoo and style! TW is a full-service hair salon that also offers nail services and massage treatments. I requested a Kate Middleton-esque blowout and Jeremy gave me just that! I got the bouncy, effortless hairstyle I've always wanted!

From there, Jon and I reunited to head over to SewKC to look at presents for our bridal party the day of. SewKC had the cutest Kansas City gear, from shirts to mugs and made it super easy to customize for the look we wanted.

Next, we went to Pink Antler Studio to look at Thank You notes, upscale paper plates/cups/cutlery, balloons, candles and so much more! With all the bright colors and massive amounts of pink, I felt like I was in my dream world as soon as I walked through the door! Morgan, the owner was so sweet and such a joy to talk to!

Because we have so many guests coming from out of town, we looked at ALoft, a modern hotel as an option for our guests. We received a tour of their various sized rooms as well as the pool, WXYZ bar and workout area! It was so nice and CLEAN, which is a huge thing for us!

We then visited Paciugo Gelato & Artesian Coffee. My jaw dropped when I saw the Guinness gelato- it was TO DIE FOR. I honestly think we sampled every single flavor in the store. What's cool about Paciugo is how easy they make it for your wedding. Their coolers are ready to go and easy to use and I'm always a fan of doing something unique at the reception!

After we filled our tummies, we went to Tom Tivol Jewels, which specializes in diamonds, colored gemstones, pearls, antique and estate jewelry and custom designs. I was stunned to see a cross pendant from the 1500s- I'm a little bit of a history geek!

To end our day, I went to Bare Med Spa for a hydrafacial and Jon had a drink and watched the game at the Ainsworth. Hydrafacials are literally magic for the skin and it's so important to have a glowing complexion on the big day. After all- the secret to flawless makeup is a good base! With how crazy the weather is, my skin really needed this.

As we reflected on our day, our hearts were grateful for our experience with Park Place and all the wonderful services and ideas that were presented to us for our big day! This truly is the most magical time and we loved having Park Place be part of it all. If you're planning a wedding, I definitely recommend checking out all it has to offer!

xoxo
