Holiday Christmas Party

Last night Jon and I threw our second annual Christmas party. Last year we kind of threw one together and this year it was a tad more pre-meditated! As I’m sure you know, it gets hard to see friends regularly as adults, but it was so special to have so many people I love under one roof! With the help of some really great local vendors, it went off without a hitch! If you’re looking to throw a party, I truly recommend all these vendors! Their products are great, the service is trustworthy and they are the sweetest people!

In addition to the obligatory pasta salads, dips and chips, Grazing KC (@grazingKC) made us a BEAUTIFUL charcuterie spread! There were so many things on it that I had never tried before and my favorite was the almonds coated in sesame seeds! Plus there was tons of cheese mmmm!

She also does workshops where you can learn to make grazing table spreads. Her next one is January 16 and you can get tickets at here! *Each ticket includes the ingredients and supplies to create your personal graze (to eat or take home). I think this would be so fun to do with girlfriends!

These adorable cookies were from Sweet Petites (@sweetpetiteskc) located in the River Market! I’m going to be honest, I haven’t eaten many decorated cookies that actually taste good and these were DELICIOUS! I’m still eating them today haha. You can’t see it well here, but each cookie had sparkles on it! In addition to occasion cookies like these, there’s tons of other goodies in her shop. I picked up some HUGE chocolate chip cookies for Jon and my parents and they said they were super yummy!

She also had some macaroons in the shop I was eye-ing hehe!

I’ve eaten Russell Stover (@russellstoverus) since I was little- it’s a KC tradition! This year for party favors, each guest got a reusable shaker packed with goodies and a box of chocolates! These truly are the perfect gift because they already look pretty- no wrapping required (a must for me hehe). The shakers are the prettiest gold color, I think they’d look really classy as a bar cart accessory!

What party would be complete without a gorg floral arrangement? I’ve worked with Everwild (@everwild_florals) before and not only is it a brilliant idea, the gal behind it, Sarah is a GEM! I always like supporting good people, and I can’t say enough good things about her and her business. Here’s how it works- once a month, she delivers a bouquet straight to your house! The flowers are actually unique, not the basic roses you always see. I’ve gotten so many bouquets with flowers that I’ve literally never seen before. The bouquets come in different sizes that you can choose! I also love that she puts flowers that have already bloomed and ones that haven’t. It feels like the bouquet lasts forever.

This year I wanted to make a little makeshift photobooth! Using the ringlight I already have for makeup tutorials (lolz), some basic gold wall streamers and few christmas props, a photobooth was born! Here some fun pictures from it!

Thank you once again to all the vendors who made this party possible and to all my friends who made this party special!
